The Kirk LP-70V2 Lens Foot is a tripod mounting foot for select Nikon telephoto lenses, including the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S, Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S, Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S, and Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S. Machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, the LP-70V2 features a long double-dovetail Arca-type profile for improved balance and compatibility with a wide range of clamps and accessories. A redesigned push-button locking mechanism requires significantly less force to secure the foot to the lens collar, while the radiused rear profile provides additional clearance for larger camera bodies and battery grips. The foot also integrates a stainless steel QD socket for instant sling support, safety stops to prevent accidental clamp release, and additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads for expanded accessory mounting options.

Beautifully made - perfect fit

In looking for a replacement foot for my Nikkor S II 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 lens, I found several. In reading reviews several are decent to very good. Comments that mention a looser than desired fit or other minor issues made me not want to buy most of them. The Kirk LP-70 and 70V2 did not have those issues. The price means you shouldn't, of course, but for me it was worth it to not have to worry about an expensive lens on a tripod. And the foot allows a nice grip if hand holding.

I’ve used the feet for these lenses made by other companies and like this one the best! Very secure fit, longer than the others, QD socket. It has everything I need.

The Kirk LP-70V2 Lens Foot for Select Nikon Lenses is not compatible with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II Lens (Nikon Z), BH #NIZ70200282 • MFR #20130. This is because the Nikon lens already has an Arca compatible foot so there is no need to buy a new foot.
