Epson S041289 reviews

Premium Photo Paper Glossy (13 x 19", 20 Sheets) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow!!! I use a D810 for all my shots. The detail comes from this camera is second to none. With that said, I want my prints just as detailed and rich as my shots. So obliviously you would want a printer capable of producing such prints. I use an Epson Artisan 1430 as my printer. And loading this printer with Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper 13x19, gives me studio gallery quality prints! This paper is not the cheapest, but the quality that it produces, is the quality that a serious/professional photographer looks for. I will be using this paper for all of my large prints for a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Premium I'm a bit confused by Epson's naming scheme. There might be an Ultra Premium Glossy which is better, but if there isn't then this stuff is the best. I accidentally purchased the lower grade glossy paper and couldn't believe how bad it was. Get the good stuff and be wowed by crisp, saturated blacks and bright colors. Glossy works best for me in dark scenes and and ones with high contrast or glossy surfaces, like car photos. The only quibble I have is that it has 'Epson' patterned on the back. I don't know why that bothers me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I am a student fine art photographer and this is one of my favorite Epson papers. It consistently makes beautiful prints that don't fade, streak, or look anything short of professional. B&H's price is great - especially since I can't find this paper stocked in any of my local stores!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful color richness As a professional graphic designer, it's important that work in my portfolio looks as beautiful as possible. Using this paper in my Epson stylus printer is the best way to do that. It provides a print that's way better looking than anything a color laser printer can reproduce. And printing on Epson paper with my Epson printer is really the only way to go I've tried other brands of paper, but they don't produce the same rich color and or high gloss. My only caution is that the prints are quite delicate. If you get spraymount on the fronts, they're trashed (using a solvent like Bestine to remove the stray adhesive also removes the ink from the page). Also, it scratches pretty easily, so wipe off fingerprints with a microfiber cloth, like an eyeglass cloth, not a paper towel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the only paper I will ever need I'm using this paper with an Epson R3000 printer. I experimented a little when I first bought the printer but I have settled on Premium Photo Paper Glossy in all sizes. There are many reasons for this but my reasons may not apply to anyone else. Essentially, I want my pictures printed on a smooth, non-textured surface and this paper is that. While I tried Epson Exhibition Fiber paper, I was not impressed with any of its attributes other than the weight. My pictures appear sharper with more depth and vibrancy with Epson's Premium Glossy. According to Wilhelm Imaging Research, this paper has a slight edge in longevity compared to other Epson papers printed with Ultrachrome K3 inks. Additionally, Premium Glossy prints up perfectly using Epson's profile, making it easy to use with no experimentation. It doesn't cost a fortune either. I can't really report a downside to this paper. Unless you are completely allergic to the look of RC glossy surfaces and the somewhat lightweight paper base, I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get exactly what you anticipate I use Epson paper brand everytime. I normally buy luster but I wanted a more vibrant and contrasts finish. Epson glossy definitely gets the job done. It's exactly what your looking for if you want an image to pop off a print. I would not recommend this paper for documentary style photography or someone trying to show middle tones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this paper ! This is one of my favorite glossy photo papers. It is a bit thicker than some other papers and when you print large images, it does NOT ripple. Thinner papers are flimsy and tend to ripple. This is my go-to paper for professional finish/quality large prints on my Epson R2400 printer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Prints from this Product! I purchased this photo paper for a final project, and the prints turned out really great! The glossy finish is so nice, esp with high contrast photographs. It's also nice that the epson logo is printed on the back (of most of their paper) so there is no guessing which side you print on.
