This Creator Camera Cage V2 with Top Handle from SHAPE comprises a camera cage and an ergonomic top handle. The cage provides an adaptable foundation for building out a complete Sony FX3 or FX30 cinema rig while preserving functionality.
Secure Camera Mounting
This CNC-machined aluminum cage mounts on your camera via a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, providing a rigid, secure connection.
NATO Clamp Top Handle
- The ergonomic top handle provides one 3/8"-16 and several 1/4"-20 anti-twist accessory threads plus a front shoe mount.
- It mounts onto the camera's top rail using its NATO clamp and features a sleek, curved design that ensures a comfortable hold.
- It also provides a single 15mm rod clamp for mounting an onboard monitor, lens motor, or another accessory.
Tripod/Rig Mounting
The cage incorporates an Arca-Swiss type quick release plate that can be attached to the base or side for rapid transitions between tripods, gimbals, and handheld operation, or between horizontal and vertical capture with full compatibility for DJI RS3-series stabilizers.
Accessory Mounting
- A shoe mount and multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the cage top and sides provide support for monitors, wireless receivers, articulating arms, and other camera accessories.
- The built-in NATO side rail enables fast, tool-free mounting of compatible side handles and clamps, while the top-mounted cold shoe accommodates microphones, compact lights, or wireless units.
