Designed to convert instrument inputs to mic-level signals without signal degradation, the Warm Audio Active Stereo DI offers stereo input for synths, drum machines, guitar processors, and stereo rigs. With a host of adjustable functions per stereo channel and custom-wound CineMag transformer balancing, the Active Stereo DI offers high-quality conversion for low-output signals.
Each channel features selectable active or passive circuitry modes, with active mode, providing greater headroom for lower-output signals and aids in maintaining signal integrity during long cable runs. Each channel features a variable input pad control (which can be manually engaged) ranging from -3 to -30 dB. Each channel also features selectable instrument input or amp output modes for each 1/4" input jack, selectable polarity flip, and switchable ground lift for eliminating grounding loops. The unit also provides 3.5mm inputs and 1/4" thru jacks. With rugged aluminum construction, the Active Stereo DI is built to withstand the rigors of touring, venue operations, or studio work.
The active version adds selectable 48V phantom power supplied by the line-level mixer/interface connection. The active DI can also be switched to passive mode for added versatility. Stereo DI’s rugged construction ensures dependable operation in any professional audio environment.
