DW Fearn VT-2 Overview
Vacuum Tube at Its Core
Utilizing four 6072A, V101, V201, V102, and V202 vacuum tubes, the VT-2 can create both transparent and pushed tones. Use the Input selector to drive the preamplifier stage, while the attenuation control ensures the output stage is sending usable level to your destination.
Lo-Z and Line Inputs
Use the Lo-Z setting when connecting transformers microphones into the VT-2 and the Line position, consisting of a 43 dB pad, when incoming signal is being overloaded.
Jensen Transformers
Custom Jensen input and output transformers ensure the signal path is clean and transparent, regardless of how you operate the VT-2.
Remarkable Connection Points
On the rear of the VT-2 are gold-plated 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs. All audio switching is also gold-plated while using sealed precision relays.
VU Meters
Each channel consists of a bright VU that monitors the overall output level. This can be turned on and off for your convenience.
