Vanguard ALTA SKY 69 Backpack (Dark Gray, 49L)

The ALTA SKY 69 Backpack from Vanguard is designed for photographers heading deep into the field with a camera kit that includes a super-telephoto lens. It accommodates a lens up to 1200mm f/8 and offers flexibility so you can capture what you see along the way. The two-section main compartment was specifically designed for long lens workflows. Half of the main compartment securely stores your pro DSLR or full-frame mirrorless camera with an attached lens up to 1200mm f/8. The padded, adjustable cradle supports the camera body while stabilizing the lens to ensure the delicate lens mount is protected when you're on the move. The other half of the main compartment accommodates up to eight additional lenses or personal gear for longer treks.

The front flap offers quick top access to the camera and long lens, while the lower sections of both compartments can be accessed from the rear for secure gear management. The interior has a bright orange lining for quickly locating what you need in low light or even outdoors. Additional pockets protect and organize everyday essentials, including a 17" laptop and a 13" tablet plus memory cards, cables, batteries, chargers, and your phone. A full-size tripod can be carried centrally for optimal balance using the tripod foot pocket and adjustable straps. Alternatively, a tripod or monopod can be carried in the expandable side pocket, which also doubles as a convenient water bottle holder.

Designed to carry heavy loads comfortably for extended periods, the advanced ergonomic harness system has a breathable 3D-padded back panel, adjustable shoulder straps that contour to your torso, an adjustable sternum strap, and a padded waist belt for extra support. For shorter outings, use the detachable side strap to carry the pack over your shoulder. Built for demanding environments, the pack is made from durable 1000D and 600D polyester and includes a full coverage rain cover for protection in harsh weather conditions.
