Yes, the Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 Weatherized Battery-Powered Loudspeaker does have an auto-standby feature to extend battery life when no signal is present. The EVERSE 8 will automatically set itself to standby mode after 15 minutes without signal. The loudspeaker can be re-activated to full operation by pressing a button on the panel or with the app.

The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 Weatherized Battery-Powered Loudspeaker with Bluetooth Audio and Control (Black), BH # ELEVERBB, may be linked with another Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 by first pairing one speaker to your streaming device, then selecting LINK SPEAKERS in the BLUETOOTH control menu on both loudspeakers. Be sure to download Electro-Voice's intuitive QuickSmart Mobile app. The QuickSmart Mobile app allows pairing and grouping of up to 6 speakers, in any combination, including EVERSE 8, ELX200 powered family, and the EVOLVE family.
