Powered by Onkyo
At the heart of the system is an AVR architecture that enables advanced content processing, precise decoding, and dynamic optimization for a true home theater experience. The all-new electronics package inside each pair of Klipsch Sevens II Powered Speakers delivers their signature, legendary American sound with the connectivity modern customers expect, in an optimized design that makes them more compact and reliable than ever.
HDMI 2.1
By including HDMI 2.1 connectivity, the Sevens II powered speakers deliver a simpler setup, better sound, and full next-gen compatibility by using a single cable to connect to your TV via eARC while passing through the highest-quality video and audio from connected devices. HDMI 2.1 supports uncompressed, high-resolution formats like Dolby Atmos, improves lip-sync accuracy, enables TV remote volume control, and allows gamers to enjoy 4K120, VRR, ALLM, and HDR content without sacrificing performance.
Virtual Height Channels
Dolby Atmos advanced audio decoding enhances your experience by placing sounds precisely around and above you, creating a realistic, immersive, and multidimensional surround-sound environment, even with two speakers. Dolby Atmos formatting requires supported content via HDMI.
Dirac Live Room Correction
Dirac Live room correction automatically creates the perfect soundscape for your space by tuning to your room. Dirac Live corrects anomalies in real time, utilizing advanced software to deliver the optimal acoustic experience. After a quick scan, The Sevens II delivers lifelike audio tailored to you with no manual equalization necessary. Room calibration microphone included.
Built-In Streaming
Powered by Onkyo's precise, high-performance technology, The Sevens II go beyond HDMI connectivity, letting you stream your favorite platforms, including Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and more.
Wireless Hi-Res Stereo
The Sevens II offers an optional wireless left-right stereo speaker link. Connect them via the included Cat 6 cable for 96 kHz of pure audio bliss, or skip the wires and enjoy 48 kHz of robust, studio- and cinema-quality sound with nothing to hide.
One-Piece BMC Baffle
The one-piece BMC baffle is denser and more rigid than previous versions, stopping unwanted resonance. A curved radius widens the soundstage, improving off-axis sound and producing a more detailed response without masking.

Klipsch The Sevens II Reviews

So far… Meh!

The set up took way too long. They updated 4x. I still can’t get the HDMI to work consistently. The connection cable between them is way too short thus more money out of pocket. I strongly dislike the app. Especially the volume slider. Bump it ever so slightly and the sound jumps up or down dramatically. There’s a lag switching to AirPlay in that after switching I can’t just start a song because it hasn’t connected yet, thus having to wait for 6-8 seconds. When on AirPlay I can no long use the apple app to also change volume, only the remote. I never used the remote with the original The Sevens.
