The unit itself features spatial diversity with a MIMO antenna design, along with algorithms for masking the loss of data packets, ensuring continuous audio over a wide 131' range. Further technologies for improving audio stability include self-healing channel switching and a clean channel manager. This access point is PoE+ powered via an RJ45 PoE port which offers 802.1X security. The WAP features WAP2 Enterprise security, Radius server certificate validation, encryption key negotiation at each startup, and a unique encryption key for each connected device. Management of all functions is easy with the Confero web-based software.
