The Glide Gear BFS 50 Compact Butterfly Scrim Kit delivers light control in a small footprint ideal for tight sets, mobile crews, and fast setups. The 2' x 3.6' frame is large enough to soften and shape light, but compact enough for easy travel. Designed to mount using a separately available gobo or grip head which mounts to a C-stand, it is ideal for shooting in limited spaces without sacrificing control.
Range of Light Control
The white diffusion scrim helps soften harsh sunlight or hard fixtures. The double-sided black/silver scrim provides flexible control. Use black for negative fill to deepen shadows and reduce spill, or flip to silver to bounce brighter, punchier fill back onto your subject.
Standard Grip Mounting
The BFS 50 frame is designed to mount using a gobo head, which then mounts to a C-stand for quick positioning and rock-solid placement. This lets you tilt, raise, and lock the scrim exactly where you need it-overhead, side fill, or as a cut-using standard grip workflows. The gobo head and C-stand are available separately.
Comprehensive Kit
This kit includes two full 2' x 3.6' BFS frames plus two interchangeable scrims to cover the most common on-set needs. The kit packs into a travel-ready carry bag and weighs under 3 lb for easy transport and quick setups.
