In addition to the points you mentioned, the Panasonic ZS300 Digital Camera (Silver) has a slightly higher resolution LCD screen and better battery life than the discontinued ZS100. It also is equipped with new features such as focus bracketing/stacking capability and Bluetooth connectivity. The only advantages of the ZS100 camera are the wider maximum aperture, as you mentioned, and the fact that it has a viewfinder, which the new ZS300 does not have.
