High-Speed SDI Support
Supporting data rates up to 2.97 Gb/s (3G-SDI), 1.485 Gb/s (HD-SDI), and 270 Mb/s (SD-SDI), the XD-500 delivers stable, high-performance video transmission. It is fully compliant with SMPTE 425M, 424M, 292M, and 259M-C broadcast standards.
Audio De-Embedding and Signal Processing
The converter supports up to 8 channels of 48 kHz embedded audio, allowing audio extraction for monitoring or routing to external systems. It also supports 3G-SDI Level B to Level A conversion at 1080p 4:2:2 10-bit, ensuring correct signal formatting across professional workflows.
Equalized Output
Featuring equalized SDI output, the XD-500 maintains signal integrity over longer cable distances and can be daisy-chained with compatible SDI equipment. Its compact design makes it suitable for portable use, studio racks, and integration into larger broadcast or AV infrastructures.
