Soft, Beautiful Light
This 47.2" octa softbox has a deep 19.6" design to evenly project the light in studios or on location. The octa shape is ideal to create round catchlights in your subject's eyes—a great choice for beauty shots and portraits. It comes with removable inner and outer diffusers for soft, even illumination and a detachable grid that eliminates spill and allows selective lighting.
Easy & Portable
Forget about complicated rods or bulky and tedious setups. The EazyFlow quick release design facilitates assembly while reducing storage footprint. The softbox pops open, safely locks with a simple push, and closes just as quickly with the press of a button. The EazyFlow softboxes take up little space and can fold flat to slide into your backpack or gear case. Godox also includes a bag for those who prefer to store and carry it separately.
Interchangeable Speed Ring System
The EazyFlow comes with a speed ring compatible with Bowens fixtures, but can also work with other mounting systems using the optional adapters. Godox offers optional SA-MS (MS mount compatible), SA-GD (Godox compatible), SA-PF2 (Profoto compatible), and SA-BR2 (Broncolor compatible) speed rings.

I've had my eye on this series for a few months, grabbed the 35'' octa as soon as available to give it a trial run before I will buy more. What I currently have is umbrella style softboxes that require the reach-in method to line up the spines so the center shaft can slide into it, but it was a fantastic way to smash or even break a finger, that alone made me want something different. I mainly wanted to streamline by softboxes so that I could use any light in any softbox. Before, I was using different sofboxes for different lights and it was not so efficient while on assignment. Coupled with the S3 bracket, I can use any light I have in these. These new Godox version are a fantastic addition that will eventually replace all my softboxes. They are lightweight, seem to be built well, and give the same quality of light as my more expensive ones. Popping open the softbox is a little hard but if you do it a certain way it's not too bad. Initially, I placed my thumbs on the main mounting plate and used my other fingers to pull the hinge into place, but the leverage is not good and nearly impossible to do that way (may depend on the size/style). I found that gripping the mounting plate opening with one hand and the hinge area with another and opening it toward you like a sling shot or bow that it works much better. I feel the octas will be harder to open given the extra spines to wrestle. Overall just a great deal and great that it comes with the grid unlike other softboxes. I can see these being super popular and I will be grabbing more.

Will not work with the ad600pro/ii

I've been waiting forever for a softbox that opens like the para snap. I immediately bought when because available, but unfortunately will not fit on my ad600 proii. The snap ring for the bowens mount isn't split in half, rather the top quart folds down leaving no clearance for the bulb at all. Which means I can never close it while it's on the light, I have to remove it and fold open which is worse than a traditional softbox. The construction is also meh, since the diffuser is very thin and the velcro strip will most like not last too long if removed constantly (which in theory you shouldnt have to)

How easy is it to insert a gel? My Westcotts have

How easy is it to insert a gel? My Westcotts have a frame in front of the ,light which prevents hanging a gel.

The light dome found in most Westcott lights such as the FJ250, FJ400II, FJ600, will have a protective dome over the light. The dome will protrude when mounted in the Godox EazyFlow Octa 90 Foldable Softbox (35.4"). This may prove challenging when putting on a gel. It can be DIY'ed with some tape inside the Octa.

With is directly attach to Godox AD300 Pro with the need of a adaptor?

To attach the Godox EazyFlow Octa 90 Foldable Softbox (35.4") to the AD300 Pro, you need an adapter like the Godox S3 Speedlite Bracket, BH #GOS3BRCT (https://bhpho.to/489Wlso).

Is this compatible with the Godox S2 bracket and Godox V1 flash, and if so is there anything else I would need to connect these?

Yes, the Godox EazyFlow Octa 60 Foldable Softbox (23.6") will mount via the included Bowens mount ring to the v1 and a stand when using the Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens (B&H # GOS2). Nothing else is needed to connect to the stand and softbox.

What is the main difference between this softbox versus the Eazyflow beauty dish version? Which one gives out a softer, more pleasing light? Thank you

The Godox EazyFlow Octa 90 Foldable Softbox (35.4") is a standard octagonal-shaped softbox, and the Godox EazyFlow Bty 85S Collapsible Beauty Dish (Black/Silver, 33.4") BH #GOEFBTY85BSL has a center diffuser that makes it work more like a beauty dish. But it can be used just like a softbox as well.
