Acer PE270K Overview

Bring your creative endeavors to life with the ProDesigner PE270K 27" 4K Monitor from Acer. This 27" 16:9 UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) anti-glare IPS monitor is designed for creators, designers, and professionals who need accurate colors and a wide color gamut.

Enjoy 1 ms (GtG) response time for fluid inputs and a 72 Hz refresh rate for smooth and responsive visuals. The 400 nits of brightness, 1.07 billion colors, HDR400, and 100 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio ensure vibrant colors when working on images, videos, and other creative designs. Connect to a computer using the two DisplayPort inputs, the HDMI input, or the USB-C DP Alt Mode port. A USB-B upstream port and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports are available for peripheral connectivity. Listen to music or monitor audio using the 3.5mm TRS audio port or through the dual 2W integrated speakers. Mount this monitor to a compatible 100mm x 100mm VESA mount or adjust the ergonomic stand with 178/178° viewing angles.

DFR Technology
With Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR), this monitor can toggle between 72 Hz refresh rate at UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution or 144 Hz at FHD 1080p resolution, letting you decide which experience is more suitable.

Had to do multiple connecting/reconnecting and restarts to get the 4k resolution to work. Does not have a numerical Kelvin setting, you can only choose from presets. Calibration looks a bit off compared to my previous calibrations. The remote it came with has a finicky joystick that makes navigation difficult. On my copy, only one displayport was working.

Better than I expected from an Acer

At $349 ($449 normal price) I was a bit skeptical about the specs, but this monitor is the real-deal! For creators and serious hobbyist it is well worth it. Out of the box I tested it with my SpyderX and the monitor DOES match the specs and the factor calibration sheet (which is a real cert, not a marketing flyer) 98% Adobe RGB White point 0.312 / 0.328 Brightness 118 cd/m2 Gamma 2.21 Delta E White point: 0.5 50% Gray: 0.3 I would put this in the same class as as BenQ or ASUS

The Acer ProDesigner PE270K 27" 4K Monitor (B&H # ACPE270K) does not offer a DisplayPort output; daisy chaining is not supported.
