Swinging the magnifier into the in-use position doesn't just magnify the view—it also automatically activates a reticle in the sight that's been selected by the user for longer shots. You now have ballistic hold marks instead of a circle-dot reticle, without having to touch buttons and operate controls. Both optics are waterproof and mount to Picatinny rails.
Offering the same selection of dot and circle-dot reticles as the previous 8T model, this 1x40 Romeo8T-AMR Red Dot Sight from Sig Sauer employs a clever technology to transition from close-range to longer engagements. When the red dot is paired on your rail with a separately sold AMR-compatible magnifier, the act of swinging the magnifier into place changes the sight's reticle— from circle-dot to a set of bullet-drop hold dots, for example. You can select which reticle appears.
The AMR is smaller and lighter than the previous Romeo8T, but the window is slightly larger at 40mm and fully multicoated. The sight has 12 daylight and three night-vision brightness levels with a dedicated NV override switch, clear flip-down lens covers, a kill-flash antireflection device, shake-awake MOTAC activation, and a Picatinny mount with a half-inch nut.

Mounted behind your reflex sight, the PowerCam 90° mount allows you to flip the magnifier into into position for use and flip it out of the way when not needed. This Juliet3T is compatible with Sig's Automatic Modified Reticle system and triggers an AMR-compatible reflex sight to change reticles when the magnifier is deployed, allowing virtually instant change from a close-range circle dot to a set of ballistic holds, for example.
The Juliet3T has a 6.8° angle of view and an optical center 1.41" above the rail. Included risers can lift the center height to 1.53 and 1.63".
