The 4DI 4-Channel Rack-Mountable Tube Direct Box from HAZELRIGG INDUSTRIES is designed for stage and studio, as part of the Solutions Series in conjunction with D.W. Fearn. It brings the energy of genuine vacuum tubes to a rack-mountable four-channel unit, intended for amplified acoustic instruments, electric bass and guitar, synthesizers, and more.
The front panel features locking 1/4" inputs and ground-lift switches, with corresponding LED indicators for each. The rear panel features 1/4" instrument inputs/thrus and four mic-level outputs on XLR connectors, ready to be patched to the mic preamp of the user's choice. Sharing the same high-headroom circuit design as the beloved D.W. Fearn VT-I/F, the 4DI provides dynamic results on electric bass and guitar, adds power and fatness to vintage or modern synths, and brings depth and presence to plucked acoustic instruments.
