Designed to enhance modelers and amp pedals with true speaker-in-the-room sound, the Line 6 Powercab CL 112 is a 1 x 12" open-back powered speaker cabinet that provides easy access to six distinct speaker voicings via six-way encoder. With IR simulation on the onboard XLR output, this cab is an excellent choice for either miked or DI stage performances and studio recording.
This powered speaker cabinet features an integrated power amplifier that offers up to 100W of amplification. Three-band EQ with high boost/cut enables for handy tonal shaping. I/O includes an XLR-1/4" combo input, an XLR output with IR speaker emulation, and a 5-pin DIN MIDI jack for external control. The cab also includes a USB-B port for IR loading on the XLR output and USB MIDI. The Powercab CL includes a power cable.
Unlike other Line 6 Powercab products, the CL is not an FRFR (full range, flat response) system, but is intended to provide the tonal equivalent of running your modeler or effects processor through a traditional guitar-voiced speaker. Combined with Line 6 patented speaker voicing technology, this allows you to approximate six classic speaker responses.
