Capture up to 6K video for your short film, live event, or documentary with the VEGA H2 6K Full-Frame Cinema Camera from Bosma. This compact modular cinema camera provides ease-of-use for a solo operator for handheld, shoulder-mounted, or gimbal-mounted shots with its full-frame 6K CMOS sensor, wide 14-stop dynamic range, drop-in internal stepless OVND filter, TOF hybrid autofocus, native horizontal/vertical setups, interchangeable lens mount, and optional accessories such as handles, audio, and monitor.
6K Full-Frame Sensor
The VEGA H2 utilizes the entire large 6K sensor for full-frame, full-pixel open gate capture with zero crop loss. This feature preserves fine details with high image quality, making your workflow seamless.
Native Horizontal/Portrait Mounting
The VEGA H2 features an HVS (horizontal/vertical switching) design that allows you to quickly rotate the CMOS sensor and lens for alternating media destinations.
Optical Stepless Electronic ND System
The OVND (optical infinitely variable ND) filter system is a motorized drop-in filter that allows you to steplessly change your ND filter from ND0.3 to ND2.4 range without the need to swap out filters. It is designed to provide fast options for limiting light into your lens in changing light environments.
Hybrid ToF Autofocus & Lens Control System
The VEGA H2 features precision ToF (time-of-flight) autofocus with active sensing of targets up to 164' away. The hybrid system syncs the sensor's autofocus features with external lens drive control to enable real-time automation of focus, zoom, and aperture on AF or manual lenses.
Lens data presets can be preserved for recovery after a lens swap.
Interchangeable Lens Mount
The camera comes with a standard PL-mount compatible with a variety of professional cinema lenses. The mount can be changed out for separately available EF or M mounts to expand your lens ecosystem.

Connectivity & Capture
The camera provides multiple capture options, including HDMI, 12G-SDI, and 3G-SDI outputs. It also provides internal dual UHS-I SD card recording or external SSD recording via the USB-C 3.0 output. You can input audio via the 3.5mm stereo input or dual XLR inputs with phantom power on the top handle.
Other connections include timecode, genlock, USB-C FIZ motor interface, LAN and Wi-Fi networking, and USB-C top handle run/stop and monitor communication.
High Bit Rate Capture
The VEGA H2 supports H.265/H/265 ALL-Intra and ProRes 422 capture formats for high-quality video capture in up to 6K/4K60 or 1080p160 resolutions. High frame rate recording is ideal for VFX and professional color grading workflows.
Display Options
You can preview and configure the camera using the built-in display on the top handle, or you can utilize the side LCD when using the side buttons for configuration. It can also support optional EVFs
Power Options
The camera is powered via a 4-pin LEMO-type input using a separately available power source, and it also features a built-in BP-U battery slot.
A separately available BP-U to V-mount adapter allows you to utilize high-capacity V-mount batteries.
