The 9950X3D2 now features Dual AMD 3D V-Cache technology. This technology is specifically designed to promote high levels of gaming performance by placing the 16 cores and the 192MB of L3 cache close together. Add the 16MB of L2 cache and this CPU has a 208MB total cache. 208MB of cache means more game data, assets, and working data to sit right next to the CPU cores, which reduces latency and provides responsiveness across demanding workflows.
This CPU continues the trend of building upon the stable Zen 5 architecture, but what separates the 9950X3D2 is the 32-thread processing, 4.3 GHz base clock speed, and 5.6 GHz max boosted clock speed. AMD has also unlocked the CPU to make overclocking easier than ever.
