The ORR 1404 4-Channel Fiber to 12G-SDI Receiver from Lynx Technik AG is a compact receiver unit that provides single-mode duplex LC fiber output to quad 12G-SDI video outputs, designed to distribute uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over long distances up to 6.2 miles. When paired with a 4-channel SDI to fiber transmitter ORR 1414, video signals up to DCI 4K60 (4096 x 2160) maintain error-free, uncompressed quality.
The unit features two SFP input modules with four independent channels that auto-detect and reclock any 12G, 6G, 3G, or 1.5G-SDI source. The unit also supports hot swapping and hot plugging, and it's fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats. It can be installed into the separately available RFR 1200 rackmount frame to provide redundant power.
