The OTT 1414 4-Channel 12G-SDI to Fiber Transmitter from Lynx Technik AG is a compact transmitter unit that provides quad 12G-SDI video inputs to a single-mode duplex LC fiber output, designed to distribute uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over long distances up to 6.2 miles. When paired with a 4-channel fiber to SDI receiver ORR 1404, video signals up to DCI 4K60 (4096 x 2160) maintain error-free, uncompressed quality.
The unit features two SFP modules with four independent channels that auto-detect and reclock any 12G, 6G, 3G, 1.5G, or SD-SDI source prior to optical transmission. The unit also supports hot swapping and hot plugging, and it's fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats. It can be installed into the separately available RFR 1200 rackmount frame to provide redundant power.
