The OTT 1814 4-Channel 3G-SDI to Fiber Transmitter from Lynx Technik AG is a compact transmitter unit that provides quad 3G-SDI video inputs to single-mode duplex LC fiber output, designed to distribute uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over long distances up to 6.2 miles. When paired with a 4-channel fiber to SDI receiver ORR 1804, video signals up to DCI 2K (2048 x 1080) maintain error-free, uncompressed quality.
The unit features two SFP modules with four independent channels that auto-detect and reclock any SD, 1.5G, or 3G source prior to optical transmission. The unit also supports hot swapping and hot plugging, and it's fully compatible with 3G Level A and Level B formats. It can be installed into the separately available RFR 1200 rackmount frame to provide redundant power.
