Standard Extension Set with Multicamera Support Set
Designed for existing ALEXA 35 camera owners, the ALEXA 35 Multicam Extension Set Standard provides the basic components required to use your ALEXA 35 Xtreme or ALEXA 35 camera in a live camera setup. This set comprises an FCA-1 camera adapter, FBS-1 fiber base station, a camera-to-FCA Ethernet cable, and a discounted permanent multicamera upgrade license.
NOTE: This set requires a camera, lens, media, Skaarhoj RCP (remote control panel), and additional accessories.
Fiber Camera Adapter
The Fiber Camera Adapter FCA-1 mounts on the camera quickly and easily via a satisfyingly robust and self-aligning mechanical interface, creating a unified form that is easy to work with. This unit features a single FCA-to-Ethernet cable link, familiar connections, and intuitive controls.
Fiber Base Station
The included Fiber Base Station supports multiple simultaneous outputs like UHD 4K with 1080p or 1080i HD video. It incorporates a broadcast-quality down-converter, a redundant power supply, a 2-channel intercom, and pro audio inputs and outputs. It includes future-proof SMPTE 2110 IP capabilities and a SMPTE 2022-7 seamless protection switching redundant network for absolute reliability. The SMPTE 311 hybrid fiber cable with copper connections provides up to 400W of camera and accessory power and transmits uncompressed 4K video.
Multicam License
The included permanent license enables you to use your ALEXA 35 camera in a multicamera setup. It includes Live Painting, Multicam Looks, Multicam Textures, and Remote Tally Control.
Multicam Support Set 2
Designed to facilitate easy transitions from handheld to tripod capture, the included ALEXA 35 Multicam Support Set 2 comprises a Touchdown baseplate and receiver plate, LPH-2 live production handle, and a TOP-1 top plate.
Full Creative Control
The ALEXA 35 Live system may be used with a variety of established, separately available remote-control panels. The recommended tool of choice is the Skaarhoj RCP, which combines classic RCP handling with a powerful, fully customizable interface, making the most of the camera's exceptional image quality and offering additional creative possibilities.
