HP 8501X+ Overview

The LaserJet Enterprise 8501x+ Laser Printer from HP is an easy-to-install printer that emphasizes speed and reliability to boost the workflows of your office. It prints as fast as 70 ppm for single-sided jobs and up to 70 ipm for automatic duplexing. Text stays crisp and clear thanks to its 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution. The printer is equipped with one 100-sheet multipurpose input tray and four 520-sheet input trays for a sizable total of 2,180 sheets. A 3250-sheet output bin means that you can come back to large print jobs without overflow and organization worries.

The 8501x+ is outfitted with a finishing unit that handles stacking and stapling. It features a speaker, a tiltable 4.3" color touchscreen that is angle-adjustable, and USB and Ethernet ports for versatile connectivity. Clearing jams is made simpler via a print path access door on the unit's side. Wheels are attached to the bottom to make moving the printer easier.

HP Security
This printer is well-protected from attacks via HP Wolf Security's endpoint threat prevention. HP Sure Start automatically detects and stops BIOS attacks from occurring with little interruption to user productivity. This firmware protection launches during start-up and will repair itself if ever compromised. HP Connection Inspector monitors the printer's outgoing network connections to prevent suspicious requests and stop malware.
