This microphone requires 48v Phantom Power. You would need to use an active XLR adapter, of which there are many to choose from, or a simple Phantom Power Supply.

Is there an option to connect it to a XLR input ...
Is there an option to connect it to a XLR input camcorder? Also will it work with my phone's 3.5mm headphone port?
A Rode VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter,
BH #ROVXLR, will allow you to plug this mic into a camera with XLR input, which would be able to provide 48 volt phantom power to the mic. To connect this to a smartphone, you would adapt the end to TRRS with a Rode SC4 3.5mm TRS Female to 3.5mm Right-Angle TRRS Male Adapter Cable for Smartphones, BH #ROSC4. The smartphone will power the mic in this case.

Are these locking 3.5mm / â
in connections compatible with the Saramonic uwmic9? The wireless receiver has a bit of a lip around the outletâ¦
Saramonic seems like copy of Sony system so most probably will not work because wiring is not the same. It can be expensive gamble.
