Connecting to the baseplate via captive screws, the side grip and NATO side rail both provide multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, as well as additional locking points to the ZR—the side grip with a built-in indexing point and the NATO rail with an insert lock, each bolting to the camera's strap slots to prevent twisting.
