Designed for demanding professional audio applications, the Marian Clara B combines premium analog and digital audio performance in a compact low-profile PCIe format optimized for continuous operation in desktop, server, and media computers. With balanced analog I/O, AES/EBU connectivity, integrated sample rate conversion, and advanced DSP mixing, the Clara B is a versatile solution for mastering, broadcast, and other mission-critical audio environments.
High-End Conversion and Flexible Connectivity
The Clara B delivers exceptional sonic performance with 24-bit / 192 kHz operation, premium AD/DA conversion, and a 128 dB dynamic range on its analog stages. Balanced XLR connectors provide two analog inputs and two analog outputs, while integrated AES/EBU connectivity supports one digital input and output for a total of four digital channels. Configurable analog levels up to +24 dBu provide generous headroom for professional studio equipment, while switchable software-controlled sample-rate conversion allows digital sources to be connected regardless of clock or sample rate settings.
Powerful DSP Mixing and Precision Clocking
Marian's BEAST DSP mixer enables latency-free routing, mixing, and signal processing across the system, allowing any input to be routed to any output in real time. The mixer supports up to 64 signals summed to eight separate buses, incorporates playback from DAW applications, enables loopback recording of mix outputs, and provides four parametric EQ bands on every channel. An ultralow-jitter internal clock with less than 1 ns jitter delivers precise synchronization performance, reducing dependence on external clocking hardware.
Built for Scalable Professional Workflows
Multiple Clara cards can be linked via the TDM SyncBus for synchronized multicard operation, appearing as a single sound system to ASIO applications while enabling direct audio exchange between installed Clara systems. The multi-client driver suite supports ASIO 2.2, multichannel WDM audio, and WASAPI for low-latency access across multiple simultaneous software applications, while compatibility with current Thunderbolt PCIe adapters expands deployment flexibility. A low-profile bracket is installed for compact systems, with a full-height bracket included for standard computer cases.
