No, the Sony FX3A Full-Frame Cinema Camera does not support 32-Bit float recording when using the Sony XLR-A4 XLR Adapter.

The Sony XLR-A4 XLR Adapter is compatible for use with the Sony a7 V Mirrorless Camera; however, the recording level must be adjusted on the adapter, not on the camera body. Additionally, support for recording at 96 kHz or 32-bit float will be enabled by updating the camera’s system software to “Ver. 2.00” or later.

Can the extension cable be mounted in different positions or is it only with the cable toward the lens thus making impossible to mount a top handle on cage that would sit right where the cable needs to go ? ( like previously with the K3M )
