How great it is ? Here is a short story. I have 15 of these caps for 16 lenses. The other lens has the previous version that was coming with the lens. I was recently shooting a live event, mostly with primes, and did a lot of lenses swapping (like 5-6 lenses). At one point, during the action of swapping lenses in low light, I got stuck with a cap that refused to screw on the lens until I realize that it was the "one" old cap in my arsenal. This is where I realize that I was no more aligning the rear cap while installing them... until that happened. Lessons learn, I need to order a 16th cap so it won't happen again. One cons is that it is virtually impossible to differentiate the old cap from the new other than a tiny black on black "II" mark inside the cap. It would have been nice to have some sort of exterior mark.
