This printer emphasizes ease-of-use while providing detailed prints at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi and speeds up to 8.5 ppm black and 5.5 ppm color. It features a 60-sheet input tray and can handle media up to 8.5 x 14". For scanning needs, the DeskJet 4355 is equipped with a flatbed scanner and a 35-sheet document feeder that performs at resolutions up to 1200 dpi. It can produce copies at 300 dpi with speeds up to 6 cpm. 

Connecting to the printer is made easy via a USB 2.0 or Wi-Fi connection. Mobile printing is available through the HP app, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and the Android HP Print Service Plugin. The printer is outfitted with an LCD display.
