The 4K HDMI eARC & S/PDIF Extender Kit from KanexPro allows you to send video over Category cable without worrying about dropping the audio return path whenever your TV needs to send ARC or eARC audio back to an amp/receiver or soundbar. This versatile transmitter and receiver set extends 4K60 HDMI video with 4:4:4 color and eARC or S/PDIF audio return over a single Cat 6/6a cable to distances up to 164' with full support for PCM 7.1 channel sound, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X, or S/PDIF for legacy gear carrying PCM 2.0, Dolby 5.1, and DTS 5.1 via optical cable.
It features a built-in four-mode EDID DIP switch for easy EDID management and offers bidirectional wideband IR and CEC passthrough. The kit is HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliant; HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG passthrough are also supported. The compact, sturdy metal enclosure keeps each device protected, and two 5 VDC power supplies provide quick and easy deployment.
