Designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Brightin Star 12mm f/2.8 AF Lens is ideal for capturing landscapes, architecture, interiors, and astrophotography. The maximum aperture of f/2.8 creates pleasing bokeh in out-of-focus areas, while the minimum aperture of f/16 offers the perfect foreground-to-background sharpness ideal for landscapes and architecture photography.
Undistorted Ultra-Wide Perspective
The lens captures expansive scenes with a strong sense of depth and scale thanks to the 12mm focal length delivering an expansive 122.5° angle of view. The distortion-controlled optical design, expansive field of view, and autofocus performance work in concert to maintain geometric details accurately when photographing straight lines and edges in architecture and interiors.
Clear Optical Design
With 15 elements arranged in 11 groups, this lens features HRI, ED, and ASPH elements that preserve sharpness across the frame and reduce chromatic aberration, even at the lens's wide f/2.8 aperture. In addition, its multilayer coating improves contrast and minimizes flare. This comes in handy when working in direct light or high-contrast environments.
Light Pollution Control
It has an integrated petal-shaped hood to help reduce flare and protect the front element. It also comes with a rear natural night filter that reduces light pollution and blocks some yellow light, helping produce sharper, more color-accurate landscape photographs.
Convenient & Efficient Controls
The STM motor delivers fast, precise, near silent autofocus, making it suitable for quietly capturing video. A dedicated AF/MF switch and a customizable FN button enable users to adjust settings in fast-paced scenarios without needing to access the back of the camera body.
