It's designed for precision moves with a resolution of 1,900,000 positions with 360° motion.
Touchscreen Controller
Designed for live events and VFX integration, the dolly supports smooth manual control using the touchscreen controller and dual joysticks.
It also supports third-party joysticks, handwheels, and pedals to expand the system.
Wireless Control
The dolly also supports Wi-Fi control using the Maxicrane iOS app from a tablet or smartphone, and it can be controlled via a standard web browser from a computer or laptop.
Programmable Presets
The dolly is programmable on five axes: dolly, pan, tilt, zoom, and focus.
The controller can store up to three preset sequences with loop/back-and-forth, nine preset positions that can record and play, and programmable keyframes, all with smooth interpolation curves.
Compatibility
The dolly is compatible with standard track rails, such as the separately available Maxicrane 6.6' track with seamless coupling. The system also provides VFX/VR/VP integration with DragonFrame, Unreal Engine, and Unity Engine using the FreeD protocol.
The Scarab 400 is also compatible with separately available 900 MHz radio wireless or fiber extension systems for control over long distances.
Power Options
The dolly and motor are powered via the included 24V power adapter or separately available battery plates.
