Photoflex 870016 Overview

The Photoflex Adjustable Shoe Mount Connector for Small to Medium Litedome Softboxes accepts most shoe-mount flashes. It connects to a Photoflex, or Chimera Speed Ring, and allows use of that flash with a 12x16" softbox.

The Photoflex Extra Small LiteDome comes with a universal speed ring. This adapter connects to that, or any other Speed Ring.
Height of your flash is easily adjusted, and locked into place in the optimum position.

Solid bracket with quick adjustments

This is a solid bracket that I use with an EX LightDome softbox. It works well and gives you a reasonable amount of room for adjusting flash positioning up and down as well as forward and backward. Front and back adjustments may be limited with a wireless flash receiver that protrudes forward of the flash. It's also a bit heavy and I wish the attachment point (gold threaded screw) used a quick attach/release system. But overall, this mount serves its purpose well.
