The AV2-N2150 Avio 2 5K60 HDMI IP KVM Extender from Matrox is designed to work as a transmitter or receiver to extend up to 5K resolution HDMI video over IP over long distances. The Avio 2 supports IPMX, SMPTE 2110, and NMOS standards for an easily scalable solution for broadcast, corporate, healthcare, media, and live event infrastructure.
High-Resolution Video Transmission
The AV2-N2150 transmits uncompressed 5K60 4:4:4 video with zero latency over Gigabit Ethernet or optional 10Gb SFP fiber modules for real-time video. It can also deliver compressed, visually lossless video using pro AV or optional JPEG XS codecs. Users can switch instantly between multiple source systems for uninterrupted workflows.
NOTE: JPEG XS codec support is available with a separately available license AV2-JXS-UPG.
Flexible Deployment
The Avio 2 can be configured as either a transmitter or receiver to pair with a second unit for reliable operation.
Connectivity options include fiber via 1G or 10Gb SFPs or RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet. There's also an RJ45 control port with PoE+ support for added flexibility.
Seamless Switching
The Avio 2 allows you to seamlessly switch between multiple sources for efficient workflow management. An on-screen display (OSD) simplifies source selection and programmable hotkeys enable fast switching between multiple Avio 2 units in transmitter mode.
Open Standards
The Avio 2 integrates with other IPMX/ST 2110 devices and equipment and NMOS open APIs make device discovery and connection management easy.
Security
The Avio 2 features AES 128-bit encryption for audio, video, and USB signals to secure all your streams and connections. Device access can be managed through local credentials or Microsoft Active Directory, and HTTPS and digital certificate support enable secure communication.
Flexible Workflows
The Avio 2 supports network redundancy using SMPTE ST 2022-7 compliance for reliable operation and supports various configurations, including one-to-one, many-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many setups.
