ILIO Naada Cello Overview

With advanced AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling, each note is generated as a continuous acoustic event.

By pressing into the grid you can shape dynamics and vibrato. By sliding across the pitch surface you can utilize legato phrasing or sustain chordal voicings. You can also engage in fully polyphonic playing, allowing for multiple simultaneous voices for harmonic layering, double stops, and ensemble-style textures. Use GeoShred Studio's integrated FX rack for sweetening your performance with reverb, amp simulation, echo, and more. Naada Cello requires GeoShred Studio (sold separately) to function, which is available in AU, AU3, VST3, or standalone formats for macOS only.

Warm Resonance Across Four Strings
The cello spans nearly four octaves, tuned in perfect fifths (C, G, D, A). Its middle register, particularly on the D and G strings, is frequently compared to the human voice in warmth and expressiveness. In GeoShred Studio, the AccelMatrix model captures that rich, singing quality while adding polyphonic capability, so the cello's resonant tone can be voiced as sustained chords, contrapuntal lines, or solo melodic phrases with equal responsiveness.
