This kit was developed in collaboration with drummer Eloy Casagrande, who designed a kit that would capture the attack, articulation, and detail he expects while allowing each mic to remain controlled and isolated. This kit includes one V7 X supercardioid dynamic instrument mic, two supercardioid V Kick dynamic bass drum mics, three V Beat supercardioid snare / tom dynamic mics, two sE8 cardioid small-diaphragm condenser mics, three V Clamp drum rim clamps, three mic clips, and the V Case hard flight case to safely store and transport the whole set.
From thunderous kick drums to razor-sharp toms and cutting snare articulation, every detail comes through with authority. Finished in striking white with Eloy’s signature purple logo, it stands out visually as much as it performs sonically. Not just any standard, this is Eloy’s standard.
With the V CLAMP, you can position the mic further away from the drum if you want to get more air and bloom around the sound, or mic it in tight and close. At the bottom of the rod is a small hole, which you can use with a tie clip for cable organization.
