Motorized Precision EVO Motion Control Robot Overview

Create exciting, automated camera moves with the EVO Motion Control Robot Arm Complete Starter Bundle from Motorized Precision. The six-joint arm allows you to record movements using separately available MP Studio software and create custom moves around your subjects. The plug-and-play robotic arm is portable, easy to set up, and easy to control. This Starter Bundle also includes a year of support, a camera clamp, a Mitchell mount with bottom mount, and a hard-shell carry case.
Rugged, Lightweight Design
The arm is made from aluminum and carbon fiber, and it's relatively lightweight for a robotic arm at 44 lb, making it portable and easy to set up in remote or even cramped locations, such as inside a vehicle.

The arm supports camera rigs weighing up to 11 lb.

Remote Control
The kit includes a power/control box that connects to your control computer running the separately available MP Studio software. You can easily set up and record motion paths for the arm and replay them for dynamic camera moves. You can also set up a gamepad to control the arm using separately available software.
Wide Range of Motion
The arm can reach up to 2.97' from the vertical center and extends up to 4' in height. Six joints allow you to adjust the arm in just about any direction. Their rotation ranges are as follows:

  • Joint 1: 360°
  • Joint 2: -118-120°
  • Joint 3: -225-11°
  • Joint 4: 360°
  • Joint 5: -97-180°
  • Joint 6: 360°
Power
The unit is powered through the power/control box and can be powered anywhere in the world with its 110-230V power adapter. It can also operate using a separately available power station when in remote locations.
MP Studio Software
The separately available MP Studio Lite software (annual license) is required for the EVO Robot to operate. The Lite version provides basic motion control tools, and the separately available Pro version features more complex workflows, controls multiple EVO robots, sets unlimited keyframes, integrates easily into virtual production, and more.
