The Epiphan Pearl Nexus Live Video Production System with Dante and 256GB SD Card lets you switch, record, and stream up to three 1920 x 1200 video inputs using its HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB-A, and NDI HX interfaces, and this model includes a license for Dante audio support and a built-in 256GB SD card. The device is designed for professional AV environments for seamless automated video integration with your preexisting ecosystem. Numerous plugins integrate natively with Crestron, Q-SYS, or Extron environments. Detachable rackmount brackets allow you to secure the 1 RU device into your lectern or place it on a desktop.
Connectivity
On the rear panel, the Nexus features HDMI, 3G-SDI (BNC), USB-A, and NDI HX (RJ45) inputs for connectivity with cameras, playback devices, and computers. Audio inputs include combo jacks with support for XLR microphone and 1/4" TRS connections, 3.5mm microphone, and stereo RCA line inputs. An HDMI output can be used to monitor any video input or the switched program. The single Ethernet port supports RTSP, SRT, NDI HX, Dante, and browser video. You can also record to the built-in 256GB SD card. Backup your recordings automatically to a USB stick, networked storage, or Content Management System (CMS).
Effortless Automation
Plug-and-play presets toggle between event types or transfer settings between Pearl units. Schedule your conferences, livestreams, or other events for automatic recording or streaming to a destination of your choice. Use Epiphan Edge to control the Nexus from anywhere and get real-time streams of inputs and channels in HD. Integration with platforms like Kaltura, Panopto, and YuJa enables you to easily schedule your events or stream directly from the Nexus.
Custom Layouts
Arrange your video inputs, graphics, text, and media into custom layouts and expand your creativity. Pearl supports the integration of Singular.Live, Uno, and Flowics for stunning graphics while also supporting dynamic text for timestamps, GPS, or other data. Add video content to the layouts with motion video backgrounds. The web-based switcher UI allows you to switch between different layouts. Bring in remote guests for a hybrid event through SRT, Zoom, or Teams platforms.
