Get secure, motorized suction using the 6" Hydra Electronic Suction Cup from Tilta for dynamic vehicle-mounted shots. This suction cup supports up to 106 lb when mounting a vertical rig and up to 66 lb in a side-mounted configuration. It can be attached in just four seconds and features real-time pressure monitoring and an increased battery life.
Versatile Mounting Options
- The top mounting plate provides multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for attaching accessories and building out your rig.
- Dovetail, 19mm rod clamp, baby pin, NATO rail, ball head, and Hydra Alien mount expansion modules are available separately.

- The Electronic Suction Cup, like other suction cups, has the potential to leave marks on various surfaces. It is recommended to take precautions such as using protective film or other materials to protect the surface being used. Using these suction cups in direct sunlight or in hotter environments can increase the chance of leaving a mark. It is not recommended to use these suction cups with wrapped vehicles.
- It is recommended to use this suction cup on a flat surface with the weight of the arm balanced over the center of the suction cup. Extending the arm past the suction cup or side mounting the suction cup can increase the risk of failure. In these situations, it is recommended that you take additional precautions, such as further securing the system with Ratchet Straps or Safety Chains.
- Regardless of additional safety measures, it is always recommended to push down the suction cup when first attaching it to any surface. The suction cup should be as flat against the surface as possible and should look noticeably flatter than when not attached. Attaching the suction cup without applying physical force to it can greatly increase the chance of accidental disconnection.
