You'll make quick work of the unloved chore of polar-aligning your telescope with the StarSense AutoAlign System V2 from Celestron, a plate-solving camera that can "see" Polaris even when you can't.
Featuring an f/2 lens, a Sony camera sensor, and an onboard computer, the system automatically aligns your compatible Celestron telescope with the earth's axis, so it can counter the earth's rotation and keep your subject centered during long-exposure photography. Once alignment is established, the system also improves the accuracy of your telescope's GoTo service, helping keep your deep-sky object of interest in the center of the eyepiece or imager.
It connects via USB-C, comes with small and large dovetails for wide mounting compatibility, and can be controlled with a SynScan controller or apps including SkyPortal Powered by SkySafari or the free CPWI telescope control software from Celestron.
