Broadcast-Ready Features
Beyond simple muting, the Guest Gizmo includes a logic port that can drive a mic arm tally and transform the cough button into an on/off/cough button. It connects to your mixer's microphone insert jack using a standard ¼-inch TRS cable, with muting handled by a sealed relay with isolated gold contacts. Because the relay uses dry contacts, the insert jack can also be used to drive muting logic on compatible broadcast consoles. Designed to resist RFI, the Guest Gizmo also includes cable tie mounting holes to help keep installation neat and secure.
