The C3 intelligently processes your audio to deliver a clear, natural, and balanced listening experience. It powers and sends processed audio to a daisy chain of Headphone Gizmos, allowing multiple users to enjoy the same premium headphone mix without adding unnecessary complexity.

Included are three Headphone Gizmos (without power supply adapters) and three 7-foot StudioHub patch cables for quick, clean installation. Simply connect the Gizmos to the C3, and you’ll have processed headphone audio available wherever it’s needed.

The Angry Audio Chameleon C3 Headphone Audio Processor restores the processed “on-air” sound that broadcasters lost with the move to digital audio systems. Combining a low-latency, adaptive multi-band audio processor with a high-performance headphone amplifier, the Chameleon C3 lets talent hear themselves with the same polished presence their audience hears—without the delays that make off-air monitoring impractical. Intelligent processing continuously adapts to incoming audio, delivering a natural, broadcast-ready sound in real time.

Adaptive Processing for Real-Time Monitoring
The Chameleon C3 uses an adaptive multi-band processing engine that continually adjusts its parameters to match program content. Three selectable density settings allow users to choose the amount of processing, while a bypass mode provides unprocessed monitoring when needed. An optional phase rotator recreates the classic broadcast effect that keeps positive peaks dominant, helping voices sound fuller and more consistent.
Powerful Headphone Amplification and Flexible Connectivity
Designed for professional broadcast studios, the Chameleon C3 features a high-performance headphone amplifier capable of driving both high- and low-impedance headphones. Both 1/4-inch and 3.5 mm headphone outputs are provided, along with an output level calibration control. Stereo analog inputs are available on XLR and StudioHub+ connectors, while AES/EBU digital input and output are provided on StudioHub+ connections. Analog input pass-through and stereo analog outputs make integration with existing studio equipment simple, and the StudioHub+ output can deliver both audio and power to compatible devices, including up to three Headphone Gizmos.

Simply daisy-chain up to three Angry Audio Headphone Gizmos from the StudioHub+ output to provide processed audio and power to additional listening stations with minimal cabling. The processed output can also feed studio monitors, live remote locations, phone systems, hallway speakers, IFB feeds, or virtually any other monitoring application, extending the Chameleon sound throughout your broadcast facility.

Whether you’re monitoring with full-size headphones or in-ear monitors, the Headphone Gizmo delivers the performance professionals demand. This version includes a 115 VAC power adapter designed for use in North America.
