Housed in a compact, durable form, the bitbox Wireless Camera Controller from bit part enables reliable camera control for your video capture. Designed to function as either a base or a remote component, the bitbox requires two units to operate. This unit features USB-C and GbE Ethernet ports, and like all bitbox units, it uses the 915 MHz frequency to avoid Wi-Fi delays and jams when working on a busy set.
Reliable On-Set Transmission
Pair this bitbox with a second bitbox unit for line-of-sight transmission up to 3280'. It provides reliable camera control by using the 915 MHz frequency band, avoiding the delays and dropouts of more popular frequencies used for mobile devices, wireless light control, and more. Setup is simple with push-button pairing of your base and remote units.
NOTE: This bitbox controller requires a separately available second unit to operate.
Full Camera Control
The bitbox enables full control of settings on cameras that SUPPORT wireless control. Functions include ISO, frame rate, color temperature, and ND filter control where applicable.
Interface
- This unit incorporates a USB-C PD + Ethernet port, an RJ45 GbE Ethernet port, and a 2-pin LEMO power input.
- Use the USB-C PD (power delivery) port to power the bitbox or to power a tablet from the bitbox.
- The PD function can dynamically switch between these two roles as power is added or removed.
- The Ethernet function enables the bitbox to appear as a USB-Ethernet adapter to any host it is plugged into.
- LEDs provide easy visual indications of the pairing, power, and signal status.
- Pair one base with up to 12 remote units.
Mounting Options
Multiple mounting options included a 1/4"-20 thread with both ARRI and SmallHD anti-twist patterns, a grid of M4 holes, and a grid of M2.5 holes for compatibility with Wooden Camera mini accessory rails.
