Celebrating 10 years since its initial launch, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 3.4 GHz Eight-Core AM4 Processor makes a big return. This eight-core, 16 thread processor is the first to feature AMD 3D V-Cache technology, which allows it to include 96MB of L3 cache for boosted 1080p game performance with legacy systems using socket AM4 motherboards.
Built with the Zen 3 architecture with a base clock speed of 3.4 GHz and a 4.5 GHz max boost clock speed, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D allows you to smoothly multitask applications. Other features include support for PCIe Gen 4 technology to take advantage of supported graphics cards and storage drives. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D also supports up to 128GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 ECC memory with compatible motherboards.
The Ryzen 7 5800X3D does not include integrated graphics, meaning that users will need to purchase a separate dedicated graphics card. This processor has a 105W TDP (Thermal Design Power) and does not include a cooling solution. However, it does include a Carbice Ice Pad, which takes the place of thermal paste and graphite thermal pads to ensure reliable, long-lasting heat transfers to coolers.
