Designed for creators, editors, and power users who need exceptional performance, the Fortis 5-Bay USB4 External Drive Enclosure from Oyen Digital delivers fast and reliable read/write speeds. Offering a balance of speed and capacity, it is well suited for demanding workloads that include 8K ProRes 4444 and other high resolution video workflows. Compatible with Windows and Mac, it is equipped with five 3.5" SATA III drive bays. It connects to your host system via a USB-C port that operates using the 40 Gb/s USB4 standard, but may also be used with Thunderbolt 5, 4, and 3. A 3000 rpm fan helps keep operations cool, lockable bay doors prevent drive theft, and, thanks to a compact, durable chassis, the Fortis won't take up much room within your workspace.
Please note that the Fortis USB4 will not work with USB 3.x interfaces. Also, this enclosure is not populated with storage, allowing users to select drives of their choice.
