Supporting bidirectional Art-Net and sACN data exchange, the XMT-500 DMX, RDM & Ethernet Diagnostic Tool Pro Kit from SWISSON is an all-in-one tool for lighting professionals in demanding environments that require both traditional cabling and Ethernet-based protocols. Part of SWISSON's testing family, the advanced XMT-500 allows versatile network integration and expands its capabilities into the network with a rugged etherCON connection. It also delivers detailed timing analysis for DMX and RDM signals for maximum stability. Other features are the XMT-500's ability to test loose XLR DMX cables and an internal USB-C battery. This version includes a robust pouch.
Network & Signal Control
The XMT-500 is the flagship of the SWISSON testing family. With full support for Art-Net and sACN, the XMT-500 allows users to send or receive values across any universe. It also enables firmware updates to function as a portable 2-port Ethernet-to-DMX node. This allows for the remote configuration of RDM-compliant fixtures and monitoring of network data streams with the same ease as a standard DMX signal.
Troubleshooting Diagnostic Tool
Monitor every timing aspect of DMX and RDM signals and identify flickers or data collisions. For hardware troubleshooting, an integrated cable tester automatically scans connections for XLR 3- and 5-pin cables, as well as RJ45 interconnections. The cable test dongle also allows testing of long pre-installed cable runs.
Modern Interface
The XMT-500 has a modern interface just as the XMT-450, offering a full-color IPS TFT display for clear viewing in any environment. Find an intuitive menu and multifunction soft keys for rapid navigation. An internal li-ion USB-C rechargeable battery provides long-lasting operation. SWISSON states that the XMT-500 was designed for long-term use with future expansions and protocol updates.
