Monitor Modes
On a Mac, you can have mirror and extended modes. Mirror mode lets you mirror your desktop across all external displays. Extended mode lets you place a second program onto one or more external displays. With Windows, mirror mode works the same way; but with extended mode, you have the option of using an external display to view a third program.
