Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light (Black)

Due to the popularity of the ML100 bi-color-only version, Godox now launches this black housing ML100R RGB Portable LED Light, offering complete RGB color control. Compact enough to hold in your hand or slip into your bag, the ML100R is the ideal pocket light to take anywhere. Featuring the same 4.8 x 4.3 x 1.8" size as the ML100Bi, the RGB version keeps flexible power possibilities for use in a wide range of places, from interior to exterior setups, working great for on-the-go shooting. The fixture comes with an innovative 15° lens reflector that increases its output while being interchangeable with an optional 36° one. In addition to bi-color punch and full RGB output, the ML100R also offers 14 selectable lighting effects to create the exact mood you need. Its RGB capability helps you add more creativity to your scenes.

Full RGB & Color Accuracy
The ML100R has a wider adjustable CCT with full RGB output from 1800 to 10,000K, and it features 0 to 100% dimming. With a high rating of 95 for both CRI and TLCI standards, the fixture delivers exceptional color accuracy. Even in its compact and portable form factor, the bare light has an illuminance of 2360 lux at 3.3' (5600K), which expands to an impressive 12,900 lux using the included 15° lens reflector.
High Precision
Supporting HSI adjustments, the ML100R allows you to precisely attune the light to a vast number of color possibilities. Intensity is adjustable from 0 to 100% along four dimming curves: linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic. Green-to-magenta shift also means more precision when handling your settings.
Efficient Lens Reflectors
The ML100R's 15° lens reflector enhances contrast and image clarity by reducing light scattering. Two lens options are available: The included 15° and an optional 36°, allowing you to meet different lighting requirements. Unlike standard reflectors, the ML100R ones are much smaller and more convenient. They improve the performance and flexibility of the ML100R by modifying its beam spread.
14 Built-In Effects
The RGB version of the ML100Bi offers a higher number of creative lighting effects.
  • The light gives you 14 options, including RGB cycle, party, flash, lightning, cloudy, broken bulb, TV, candle, fire, fireworks, explosion, welding, police car, and SOS preset effects.
Onboard & App Control
You can easily manage the light settings locally on the fixture or wirelessly at 98.4' using your smartphone and the Godox Light app.
Power Anywhere
Suitable for a variety of lighting setups, the ML100R runs on AC power thanks to the included adapter and cord. Not limited to AC power, the light also offers four portable battery solutions, such as V-mount/NP-F batteries, a proprietary Godox BG02 battery grip, or even applying your own power bank.

Mounting
The unit features a 1/4"-20 hole at its bottom to give you the option of mounting the ML100R on a variety of optional tripods and accessories.
Optional Accessories
The light is compatible with an array of optional accessories thanks to its proprietary Godox mount. The ML100R brings you extra modifiers to really shape the light to your vision. This includes optional softboxes in different shapes, a convenient air soft tube, a collapsible Fresnel, and a mini projection attachment with various lens options. A Bowens adapter is also available separately to expand your lighting control and creative possibilities.
Portable Design
This compact black housing light is lightweight at approximately one pound and small enough to carry in the included storage bag.

Godox Lens Reflector for ML100Bi (36°)

This 36° Lens Reflector from Godox is a valuable light shaper that expands the capabilities of your ML100Bi LED fixture. This modifier has a 36° beam angle and features a Godox mount, allowing you to replace the 15° lens reflector that comes with the ML100B and modify its beam spread.

Godox Battery Handgrip for ML60IIBi (V-Mount)

Take the ML60IIBi's portable design to a new level with this Battery Handgrip from Godox. This handheld accessory accepts a separately available V-mount battery that will run the fixture in the field, so you can operate in any location regardless of AC power availability.

what would be a good external battery option to connect via usbc etc , to power the unit for 3hrs at 100% brightness?

If you want to power the Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light for 3 continuous hours, you will need to use a V-Mount battery with a minimum of 288 Wh and the Godox Battery Handgrip for ML60IIBi (V-Mount). For the battery, I recommend the POWERANGE PR-BP-N8310 28V 288Wh Cinema Battery (V-Mount).

If you want to use any Bowens Mount modifier with the Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light, you will first need to remove the current modifier and then attach the Godox Bowens Adapter for ML100Bi & ML60IIBi.

Using the Godox Bowens Adapter for ML100Bi & ML60IIBi will allow you to put the Angler BoomBox Octagonal Softbox with Bowens Mount V2 (36") on your Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light.

You can change the Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light's dimming curve by pressing the Menu/Mode button and selecting from the four options: Linear, Logarithmic, S-Curve, or Custom.

The Godox Projection Attachment for MS60Bi & MS60R, BH#GOSP36K, is not compatible with the Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light. You can use the Godox Projection Attachment for ML30 and ML60 LED Lights (36°), BH #GOMLP36K, instead.

Is the power brick compatible with European 220 volts?

The AC adapter that comes with the Godox ML100R RGB Portable LED Light Kit (36° Lens & NP-F Handgrip) is multi-voltage. The connection is the USA. To use it in Europe, you will need a plug adapter, USA to Europe.
