The Burl Audio BDA12 Orca is a 12-channel digital-to-analog converter and control monitor module for the B16 Mothership interface that utilizes discrete, class-A analog circuitry and the NextGen BOPA14 op-amp for exceptional clarity and analog fidelity. Ideal for project studios, this DAC offers 2-channel DAC output for up to three stereo monitors.
The front panel features a 1/4" output for headphone monitoring and a button for selecting between Speaker A, Speaker B, and headphones output. It also provides a knob for level control and single-LED indicators for signal status on the left and right channels. This daughter card permits selection between various DAC filters for different output EQ curves. It also enables Avid delay matching via automatic BMB1-Digilink detection. Output is via two balanced DB25 outputs. This daughter card features rugged construction and is made in the USA.
